Victor Todorov

Summary

The article offers an analysis of the possible variety of nominal stems in Proto-Semitic and Proto-Afro-Asiatic. In Proto-Afro-Asiatic, variety can also be presumed in two nouns having roots which consisted of only one consonant: *p-/   *’ap (mouth), and, respectively, *č- /*’ač (person).
